ABSTRACT
This study determined the Assessment of factors influencing the academic performance of first year students of Vocational and Technical Education. six research questions were raised to guide the study. The study employed a descriptive survey research design. The population of this study was made up of 105 First year students of Vocational and Technical Education (Office of the heads of Department, 2022). The sample size comprised 105 (one hundred and five) students used for this study. The instrument used for the study was structured questionnaire. The questionnaire was titled Assessment of factors influencing the academic performance of first year students of Vocational and Technical Education (FISCBEPPUEQ).
