ABSTRACT
This study's main goal is to evaluate agriculture labs and farms for the efficient instruction of agricultural science in junior high schools in the Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State. The study specifically aimed to determine how much laboratory equipment increases students' interest in studying agricultural science and the growth of practical agricultural science skills. The sample of the study consisted of forty (40) junior secondary schools. In order to conduct the survey, junior secondary schools in the Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State were chosen using the purposive sampling technique. A questionnaire was used to gather the data, Data was collected through questionnaire and was analyses using mean and standard deviation. It is concluded that school farm /laboratories provides a unique medium for teaching in every discipline specifically agricultural science and has positive effects on the academic performance of junior secondary school students in agricultural science.
