ABSTRACT
This research work assess youth restlessness and its implication on educational sector in Oredo Local Government Area, Edo state. This descriptive survey design was used, which is a non-experimental method. The purpose of descriptive survey research is to describe that which exists as accurately and clearly as possible.
The population for this study includes youths in Benn City, Oredo Local Government Area, Edo state. A total of 100 respondents will be used for the study as sample size for the study. The simple random sampling techniques will be used to select youths in Benin City, Oredo L.G.A. so that every interested youth is given equal opportunity of being chosen. The instrument used in this study was the close-ended questionnaire. The questionnaire contained Yes or No response questions. This section has a total of twenty questions and the type of response expected is that of close-ended questionnaire option. Data was analysed using frequency counts and percentages. This method of data analysis of either positive or negative answer was based on percentages scores. Based on the analysis of data, the following conclusion were drawn concerning research questions. It is ascertained that the relationship between youth and educational sector has a positive impact and it is encouraging.
This research was carried out sensitively in order to get appropriate findings. It was proven in this work that there are various measures put in place in combating youth restlessness.
