ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON THE CONCENTRATION OF CARBON MONOZIDE

ABSTRACT

This study assessed the impact of COVID-19 on the concentration of CO and NO₂ air pollutants in Ovia north east local Government areausing Setinel 5P for the period of three years (2019 pre covid-19 era,2020 during covid-19 and 2021 post covid-19 era). Sentinel 5P images which falls under secondary datawere use for this study and were accesed through Google Earth Engine (GEE), a script common to Sentinel 5P was imputed in Google earth enginefor the image extractioin. After the imags were extracted they were then downloaded. The images were processed and analyzes using an analytical tool called ArcGIS version 10.4 a Geographic information system software.
