ABSTRACT
This study examined the aspects of morphology of Esan in order to show the processes involved in the generation and formation of Esan words. The study revealed that the Esan language morphological process is not different totally from the English morphological processes. From our analysis of data and discussion, there appear to be prefixation, suffixation, circumfixation on the aspect of inflectional morphology in Esan. On the aspects of derivational morphology, the Esan words are derived from compounding, reduplication, and borrowing.
