In concluding this work, it is necessary to give a summary of my observations the course of my analysis of the different challenges of articulating the vowel sounds. The study on the “Articulatory challenges of the English vowel sounds of Mayor school “ analyses the natural way students pronounce the vowel sounds by giving them words to articulate and detecting the unnatural articulation of the English vowels. A recording was done to aid my collection which assisted a great deal in marking out the challenges.
In the course of this project, the challenges discovered are monophthongization, vowel substitution and the schwa sound.
