ABSTRACT
Telecommunication is one of the fastest-growing technologies in the world. The organization has realized that stand-alone computers present many problems; fragmentation of data, lack of control, insufficient integration and limited opportunity for teamwork. Hence, this research will adopt the mapping of a telecommunication mast located within the University of Benin, by collecting each telecom mast coordinate and inputting it into triangulation and trilateration models (algorithms). The preliminary investigation showed the total number of masts discovered was seven, located in different areas within the campus. The location of this mast was at the New shuttle park, faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Education, ICT, Faculty of Law, Hall3, National Centre for energy and environment. The coordinates of the mast location were picked using a Trimble GNSS receiver.
