ABSTRACT
The CuO nanoparticles and the1% doped Mn-CuO nanoparticles were effective in removing cadmium and Salmonella from the contaminated water. However, 1% doped Mn-CuO nano particles was more efficient in removing cadmium from the contaminated water and CuO nanoparticles was more efficient in removing Salmonella from the contaminated water. The resultant effect of CuO and 1% doped Mn-CuO provided a cleaner and safer water hence, advancing the fields of nanomaterial for environmental application. This can also be used to address public health and redress environmental concerns, pave way for technological innovation, and sustainable and cleaner water.
