ABSTRACT
The cost of an undergraduate program at the University of Benin was the subject of a study project. The goal of this research was to determine the cost of undergraduate programs at the University of Benin, as well as the relationship between field of study and the cost of undergraduate education at the University of Benin. The survey research design was used in this study. The objectives of the study, as mentioned in chapter one, influenced the design choice. This study design allows for a quick, efficient, and reliable assessment of information on a target group. The participants in this study were University of Benin students and personnel from Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. The sample size was calculated after a total of 648 respondents were chosen from the population figure. According to the findings of the study, the cost of undergraduate education in University of Benin Nigeria is relatively low, and the cost is impacted by the kind of institution, program of study, gender of students, level of study, students' residency, and the ownership status of institutions. As a result, stakeholders should make active efforts to lower costs while taking into account the factors that affect them.
