ABSTRACTDue to energy shortage and or unavailability of regular power system, it has become important to have additional and regular power supply to enable us meet up with the daily energy need. It is upon this backdrop, an implementation of a 1KVA complete solar system is being carried out.The goal of the study was to determine whether a two-bedroom apartment could be powered by a solar power system of this rating. The methodology deployed was carrying out detailed cost analysis with a view to establishing whether it is cost effective on the long run.The completion of the installation confirmed that solar power system is a good alternative in reducing carbon emission and other energy emission. The maintenance plan was also carried out for a sustainable project.
