ABSTRACT
The study had investigated on the teachers’ attitude on student academic performance in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo state. Five research questions had been raised. Research questions one and two were answered, while research question three to five were hypothesized and tested at a 0.05 level of significance. The descriptive survey research which adopted the correlational research design was employed in this study. Five hundred and fiftyfour teachers (554) from Twenty-four (24) public secondary schools in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo state. The sample size comprised of One hundred and sixty-six teachers (166) teachers from seven (7) public secondary schools in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo state made up the study's population. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire and a checklist which was distributed to the participants. The instrument was retrieved and analyzed using mean and standard deviation for research question 1 9 and 2, while the hypothesis was tested using chi-square at 0.05 level of significance.
