ABSTRACT
This study is an investigation of time management practice in University of Benin Campus. The study examines four specific objectives which include; to examine whether time management practice enables undergraduate students to achieve desired learning objectives in University of Benin Campus; to find the relationship between time management practices and improve positive academic output in University of Benin Campus; to determine whether time management practice influences the undergraduates studying habit in University of Benin Campus; to evaluate the relationship between time management practice and academic performance of undergraduates in University of Benin Campus. The study adopted the survey design on the basis of which data was sourced from a sample of 400 respondents. The study adopted the criterion mean to analyse the research questions. The result shows that time management practice enables undergraduate students to achieve desired learning objectives in University of Benin Campus. The result also displayed that there is relationship between time management practices and improve positive academic output in University of Benin Campus. It was concluded that if the students practice effectively the time management strategies and adopt good study skills as a habit, their academic performance will improve. The study recommends that time management strategies and study habits should be taught in the classroom to help students get familiar with them and practice them. Students practice effective time management strategies and adopt good study skills which enhance academic performance. Time management practice can influence the undergraduates studying habit in University of Benin Campus. That is utilization of time management can have effect on several aspects of students’ life particularly studying habit.
