The current crises in Nigeria that is tagged the Boko Haram Crises is one that can be regarded as a Non-International Armed conflict or conflict that is not of international character. Whether or not the application of rules to the crises is affected inn Nigeria is not question to be determined in this thesis. What has been given a legal answer here is the applicability of the rules of International Humanitarian Law to the Boko Haram Conflict and the Law allowing same to regulate the hostilities especially in the North-Eastern states of Nigeria as between the Nigerian forces and the Boko Haram as an armed group.
