ABSTRACT

This research examines wrongful termination of contracts of employment in Nigeria, A Case of reinstatement of private employees. The indiscriminate nature of wrongful termination constitute the fundamental reason for this study. This research analyzes the variable and critical issues on the concept of wrongful termination of employment contract. It provides a conceptual study on the nature of the contract of employment and the wrongful termination of employment contract. It elucidates the remedies available for the wrongful termination of contract of employment of contract and portrays the significance of employment contracts in Nigeria. The study highlights some suggestions for improved protection of the employee from wrongful termination of contract of employment.
