Abstract
This project presents an in-depth evaluation of the Public Relation Management Approaches implemented by the Edo State House of Assembly. In an era of increasing public scrutiny and digital interconnectedness, effective public relations management approaches are indispensable for governmental bodies to maintain transparency, credibility, and public trust. Through a comprehensive analysis of the Edo State House of Assembly public relations management approaches, this study assess the efficacy of their communication strategies, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and crisis management protocols. Drawing upon theoretical frameworks and empirical data, the research identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) within the public relations management approaches, offering actionable insights for enhancement. The study adopted the survey research method as its research designs and employed the questioniare and interview as data instrument for the study. 400 copies of questionnaires were administered to respondents and this was aided using stratified and simple random sampling techniques while 5 persons from the Edo State House Of Assembly were interviewed. The findings of this study contribute to the broader discourse on governmental communication strategies and provide practical recommendations for optimizing public relations management approaches in contemporary political contexts.
