ABSTRACT
This project involved designing and developing an Automated Result Checker System (ARCS) for the Department of Computer Science at the University of Benin. The ARCS is a web-based platform that automates the process of compiling, processing, and disseminating student results, addressing the limitations of traditional manual methods. The project began with an introduction highlighting the need for digitizing result management in educational institutions. It outlined the problems with manual systems like being time-consuming, error-prone, lacking transparency, and inefficient record management. The literature review examined existing result checker systems, both manual and automated, defining ARCS and discussing their advantages such as enhanced efficiency, accuracy, transparency, streamlined records, and cost savings. Potential challenges like scalability, data security, and costs were also explored.v
