Through this comprehensive approach, the research seeks to identify key climate change risks affecting SMEs, including extreme weather events, resource scarcity, and regulatory changes.

The findings of this research provides valuable insights for SMEs, policymakers, and stakeholders in Nigeria, it would enable them to develop informed strategies to mitigate climate change risks and enhance the resilience and sustainability of SMEs in the face of a changing climate. Ultimately, this study contributes to the broader understanding of the intersection between climate change and the SMEs operations and financial performance, particularly in emerging economies like Nigeria.
