ABSTRACT
The study examined the effect of improvised instructional materials on senior secondary students’ academic achievement in Mathematics in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. The population of the study comprised 50 teachers from different secondary schools in Egor Local Government Area.
The population targeted in this study are teachers. The study targeted, 30 female teachers and 20 male teachers in Egor local Government Area of Edo State. In the study area, 10 community secondary schools were selected for data collection, and in each school, at least 5 teachers were randomly selected who filled out the semi-structured questionnaire. The main data sources were questionnaires. The item and questions of the questionnaire were scrutinized and validated by my project supervisor and two other lectures who are experts in the field of study. The respondents were urged to answer the questions honestly and they were assured of the confidentiality of their answers to these questions. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics based on the themes and objectives of the study.
