SUMMARY
The main purpose of this study was to investigate the assessment of federal character principle on national integration in Nigeria: a study of University of Benin Employment policy. The work adopted a primary data research approach using questionnaire administered to respondent’s staffs of university of Benin which served as our target sampling population for this research work. The sample size adopted for the work was 100 and same number of questionnaires was distributed but only 90 of the questionnaires were retrieved. Descriptive analysis of our demographic variable and the validity of our research purpose were done using simple percentage and frequency analysis.
