Summary

This study was aimed at examine assessment of inquiry based method in learning of integrated science in junior secondary school in Oredo Local Government Area, Edo State. This study reviewed works of several authors.

To guide the study, five research questions were raised which are outlined thus:

  1. What are the perception of students toward the use of inquiry based method in learning integrated science?
  2. To what extent do students use inquiry based method in learning integrated science?
  3. Does students’ comprehension ability enhanced with used of inquiry based method?
  4. Does integrated science students participate in inquiry based method?
  5. Does this inquiry based method enhance students’ scientific skill development?
