ABSTRACT
This study was undertaken to identify the effectiveness of the e-learning method in enhancing the interest of upper basic students in the learning of mathematics. The study developed is quantitative, descriptive and correlational. The research design used for this study is based on survey research, this is because the design offers a unique mean of data collection which provides insight into life experiences. The results show that the use of the e-learning method has a positive influence in enhancing students interest and participation in mathematical concepts. It can be concluded that the e-learning method leads to improvement in upper basic students who are studying the mathematical subject in the educational stage of secondary school, provided that it is compared with the expository method. Therefore, this method is considered effective for its implementation.
