ABSTRACT
This study which assesses the material under study delves into the utilization of bamboo as a roofing material in building construction, examining its structural capabilities, eco-friendliness and thermal performance. Evaluating traditional and modern construction methodologies, this research aims to ascertain the viability of bamboo as a sustainable roofing solution. By exploring the material’s inherent strength and addressing potential challenges, the study contributes valuable insights into eco-conscious building practices. Additionally, the economic feasibility of bamboo roofing systems will be analyzed, emphasizing the potential costeffective and environmentally friendly alternatives if offers in the construction industry. The research intends to promote the integration of bamboo, a renewable resource, as a pragmatic and sustainable choice for roofing, aligning with global efforts toward greener and more resilient construction practices
