ABSTRACT
Bamboo is a sustainable and adaptable building material that has drawn interest due to its ability to solve the particular problems facing the construction sector in Africa's tropical regions. This study project offers a thorough evaluation of bamboo's potential as an affordable building material, with an emphasis on its application in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.In the context of construction in a tropical climate, the study intends to investigate knowledge and awareness regarding bamboo as a construction material, as well as its benefits and downsides, sustainability, and economic impact. Surveys, interviews, and a thorough analysis of the body of current literature are used to gather data.
