ABSTRACT
This project analyzed The Appraisal of Sustainable Entrepreneurial Undertakings in Nigeria and it observed the causes of the folding up of these entrepreneurial businesses. This project fulfilled the analysis of the nature of entrepreneurial undertakings in Nigeria as well as explained their success criteria and the reasons some entrepreneurial undertakings remain sustainable. The descriptive analysis method was used in this analysis and the primary method was employed for data gathering through the use of questionnaire. This study found that the environment plays a major role in entrepreneurial sustainability, that there is a significant relationship between entrepreneurial undertakings and economic growth and development, that sustainable entrepreneurial ventures are characterized by risk taking and that the government plays a major role in the sustainability of these entrepreneurial ventures. And it recommended that; the government should put in measures to ensure that entrepreneurial firms have easy access to finance, the government should enact policies in the environment that will be favorable to the entrepreneurial firm as well as organize yearly seminars for entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs on how to take calculated risks.
