ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to find out the relationship between class size and academic performance of secondary school students in Egor local government area Edo state. Class size in relation to the student performance has over the years been a topic of debate in the educational sector especially in secondary schools. The study population was total number of students in all secondary schools in both public and private secondary schools in the LGA of the state while a study size of 100 respondent was randomly selected from the 4 schools in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. Data were analysed using simple percentage. Though many research have been carried out to determine the effects of class size on learning outcomes, this project specifically aims to analyse the relationship between class size an academic performance of students using some selected secondary schools in Egor local government area of Edo state as case study.
