ABSTRACT
Electronic voting may play important role on enhancing security and cutbacks of burden on human and financial resources allocation to election processes. In the emerging democracies of developing countries like Nigeria, exhibit other factors that might be weighted before any electronic voting systems are deployed. This feasibility study begins by addressing the historical aspects of democratic system in Nigeria , and then describes theoretical issues of online voting and characterizes issues to account for. The findings suggest that government may enhance countries' growth by developing better strategic plans for electronic voting.
