ABSTRACT

The study examined the assessment of activity based method in teachingandlearning of Biology in senior secondary schools in Oredo Local Government AreaofEdo State. A survey research design which involves collection of data through theuseofquestionnaire was adopted to solicit information and six research questions wereusedto guide the research. The population of the study comprised of students andteachersfrom five selected public schools in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State. Thesample of the study comprised of one hundred (120) students and ten (10) teachers. Frequency counts, percentages and T-test Analysis were used to analyze thedatacollected to answer the research questions and the reliability coefficient value of 0.60was obtained.
