ABSTRACTThis research work explored Agricultural Education as an entrepreneurship strategy for boosting employment opportunities for Nigerian graduates. This work adopts a descriptive survey. It is the most appropriate design for a study of this nature because it provides appropriate methodology for investigating human behaviour and opinions of people.The population of this study includes 100 level students to 400 level students. A total of 100 respondents were sampled for this study using the simple random sampling technique. Questionnaires were used for obtaining information and opinions of the respondents. The instrument was validated by the supervisor of 5his work and another lecturer in the department. They both certified the instrument as appropriate for the study. Data gotten was analysed using mean, simple percentage and standard deviation.Findings showed that agricultural education skills acquired by agricultural education students boost their employability, acquisition of teaching skills enhance the employment opportunities of graduates of agricultural education as well as acquisition of teaching skills enhance the employment opportunities of graduates of agricultural education. Finally, this work concludes that the extent to which entrepreneurship skills enhance the establishment of businesses by agricultural education graduates is high.
