ABSTRACT

This study examined the topic “AFRO POP DANCE AS A VEHICLE FOR THE EXPRESSION OF CONTEMPORARY ISSES: AVARICE AS CASE STUDY.” This Topic experimented on Afro Pop Dance as vehicle for expression of contemporary issues affecting the society. This study made use of the primary, Secondary and experimental method of research to gather necessary data needed. This research further showed how bad these issues affect individuals in the society and how people deal with issues they face. The study identified drugs, prostitution quick urge to become rich as some of the problems faced by the youth. These are reflected in the dance ‘Avarice”.
