ABSTRACT
This research focuses on Affixation and Compounding in Ẹdo language. The major objective of this work is to analyze affixes and compound words in the Ẹdo language in order to know how these words are formed.
The Ẹdo language belongs to the kwa group of the Niger-Congo phylum and the method of data collection were through knowledge gleamed from both published and unpublished works, Information were also be collected from competent speakers around through interviews, published research on the subject, i:e affixation and compounding by scholars served as a good ground work.
