ABSTRACT
This paper sets out to examine the adverbialization in Igbo.
The research work is aimed at providing a description of this form class in the language with a view to a better understanding of the subject as it affects the Igbo language. Data for this study were drawn from both primary and secondary sources. The primary data consist of Igbo adverbials and as well as sentences in which they are used. The focus of this work is to identify the nature of adverbialization in Igbo, the positions of adverbial, is in a sentence and also the functions of adverbials in the language. Our findings indicate that there are no adverb in Igbo, rather what Igbo have is adverbial. We are convinced that Igbo has no adverb in the language
