ABSTRACT
The adsorption properties of Dangara clay were examined under various conditions using heavy metal ion (pb2+) as the adsorbate. The effect of various parameters such as adsorbent dosage (mass), contact time, concentration, temperature and pH were observed. The maximum adsorption capacity of the adsorbent dosage was 99.00%, the maximum adsorption capacity of adsorbent time was 99.00% the maximum capacity of concentration was 98..92% while the maximum adsorption for pH was 93.68%. The results show that Dangara clay is a good adsorbent for the adsorption of pb2+ .
