ABSTRACT
In this work, adsorption experiments were performed to remove Pb2+ ions from aqueous solution using natural clay obtained from Dangara. The effects of adsorbent dosage, contact time, initial concentration of metal ions, temperature and pH were studied. A maximum Pb2+ adsorption of 96.00% was achieved at pH 4.0 with an adsorbent dosage of 1.0g and a contact time of 25 min and an initial metal ion concentration of 10 mg/ l.
