This study was to investigate Adolescents attitude to parental discipline in Ekehuan Barrack Benin City Edo State. To guide the study, two research questions were raised which are outlined. The study adopted the descriptive survey research design. The population of the study comprised of three hundred and fifty seven(357) adolescent in Ekehuan Barrack Benin City, Edo State. The sample for the study consists of one hundred (100) adolescent in Ekehuan Barrack, Benin City, Edo State. The simple random sampling technique was used in selecting the adolescent in Ekehuan Barrack, Benin City, Edo State. The hypothesis was analyzed using Pearson product moment coefficient at 0.5 level of significant. The instrument used for data collection was a structured questionnaire titled “ A study on adolescents attitude to parental discipline in Ekehuan Barrack, Benin City, Edo State”. It was validated by the researcher's supervisor. Its reliability was established at 0.88 using Cronbach Alpha method. The data collected for the study was analyzed using frequency tables, mean and standards deviation. The findings from the study revealed that  adolescents in Ekehuan Barrack Benin City Edo State prefer authoritative parental discipline to permissive, authoritarian and neglectful parenting styles. From the study it was recommended that spending time with children can lower the risk rebellious or bad behavior and that continuous parental involvement can prevent adolescents from committing crimes and participating in illegal activities.
