ABSTRACT
The study was carried out to investigate the administrative and sociological determinants of women participation in sports in Ikpoba Okha local government area. Seven research questions were raised and used to guide the study. A total of five hundred respondents, all females from Ikpoba Okha local government area, were selected using random sampling technique. A selfstructured questionnaire was used to obtain information from the respondents. The Likert scale was adopted as options to the items. Questionnaires were administered for data collection. Mean and standard deviation were used for the analysis of the research questions and descriptive statistics of frequency counts and percentages for the demographic data.
