SUMMARY
Just like every other natural languages ,the Urhobo language adjectives and verbs or noun are not so easy inseparable areas to be analyzed Taking a critical look at some words which have been called adjectives we would see that not all are simple adjectives (i.e adjectives that are not derived from any other part of speech ) in the language, while some are derived from other part of speech kgolo (2014:71) as in the case of the Urhobo language which derives it's adjectives from nouns and verbs.
The adjectives that are derived from verbs are grouped into two which at the adjectives derived from statices verbs (adjectival verbs ) and the ones derived from other adjectives .those adjectives derived from stative verbs not only possess the [+verbal feature] but they also possess the [+adjectival feature] which enables them function as adjectives in the language.
