SUMMARY

Just like every other natural languages ,the Urhobo language adjectives and verbs or noun are not so easy inseparable areas to be analyzed  Taking a critical look at some words  which have been called adjectives we would see that not all are  simple adjectives (i.e adjectives that are not derived from any other part of speech )  in the language, while  some  are  derived from other part of speech kgolo (2014:71) as in the case of the Urhobo language  which derives it's adjectives from nouns and verbs.

The adjectives that are derived from verbs are grouped into two which at the adjectives derived from statices verbs (adjectival verbs ) and the ones derived from other adjectives .those adjectives derived from stative verbs  not only possess the [+verbal feature] but they also possess the [+adjectival feature] which enables them function as adjectives in the language.
