ABSTRACT
This study explores how accounting practices in Nigeria healthcare sector have adapted to the challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic. it highlighted the importance of accounting beyond transformation reporting, encompassing strategic planning and regulatory compliance. Despite disruptions in revenue and increased costs, healthcare organizations demonstrate resilience by adjusting their practices. the research is based on a survey of how 150 respondents through a structured questionnaire administered to healthcare professionals, including administrators, finance officers, and accountants in Edo state, Nigeria. The method of data was obtained by means of using python programming, descriptive and inferential statistics, non-parametric tests paired and independent samples T-test, one way ANOVA, OLS regression model. The research results shows that only employees morale and job satisfaction were negatively and significantly affected. Other factor like financial resilience, report accuracy, and government funding utilization remained unaffected. The study concluded that there is no significant difference among the variables tested, suggesting a non-hypothesis holds. Recommendations include boosting employee’s morale, optimizing financial reporting, maximizing government funding, enhancing financial resilience, and ensuring compliance with accounting standard.
