ABSTRACT
The study examined academic management and student performance among undergraduate students in higher institution. University of Benin which is located in Benin City of Edo State, Nigeria, was used for the case study. The study specific objectives was to examine the instructional strategies, the assessment methods and the student report services which Uniben students have to enhance their academic performance. This study is focused on only examining the impact of undergraduate students' time management practices on their academic performance.
The research population of the study comprised all the students in University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State. In University of Benin, the total number of students are seventy-eight thousand five hundred (78,500) (Academic Plaining Office, 2023). The sample size of the research was calculated using Taro Yamane (Yamane, 1973) formula with 90% confidence level. From the result the sample size was 99.87 form the total population and the researcher approximately used 100 as the sample size. After an attentive analysis of different factors under the research, a vigilant analysis of the research topic was conducted using the Likert scale method.
In conclusion, the data presented in the tables offer valuable insights into the complex and multifaceted nature of the educational experience. The findings underscore the importance of adaptability and responsiveness in education, as students' preferences and needs can vary widely. Based on the findings the research then now gives the necessary recommendations.
