ABSTRACT
The findings from research question one showed that social work intervention strategies can enhance awareness on how families could take proper care of their elderly and that social work intervention educational strategy can enhance family interpersonal relationship with their elderly. The result revealed that social work intervention strategies can enhance health wellbeing of the elderly through constant care and social work intervention strategies can manage stress faced by caregivers on the elderly. The result indicated that social work intervention strategies can enhance family support on the various way to promote wellbeing of the elderly. The test of research question two demonstrated that social work intervention strategies can impact on provision of material support for the elderly on daily basis and that social work intervention strategies will bring about people’s center for a proper care for their elderly. The result showed that social work intervention strategies help family members and caregivers to understand the extent of close relationship with the elderly and that social work intervention strategy help family members and caregivers to create favourable environment for the elderly. The finding also revealed that social work intervention strategies bring about helping elderly to cope with external shocks and stress.
