SUMMARY
This project work was carried out to improve on the current existing system. In a view to expose this, an analysis of the existing system was carried out using system development process model.
Design of the proposed web-based school management system were modelled using the dataflow diagrams (DFD) and implemented using various software tools: Javascript; virtual studio code (the development environment); database (mongoDB) and the server-side (Node,js, REST API) tool for backend; client-side (vue.js) for frontend. A DFD software was use to model the design of all the level diagrams showing the operations of the developed information system.
