ABSTRACT
Academic Advising System is one of the most vital aspect of Tertiary Education (Higher Education). Every year, students that are fresh out of high school get into college. Some of them have no clue to what they want to study or achieve academically. The area of academic advising helps to guide these students along the right path to their desired goals.
Although Academic Advising System is very important, the way it is implemented matters. The Traditional method (physical method) takes too much time consumption of both the student and the course advisor which can make them to not accomplish their desired goals and objectives for the day. Student documentation of data can also be prone to damage or loss because of the physical storage method being implemented.
The web-based Academic Advising System worked on in this project reduces the time consumption for both the Advisor and the student.
