ABSTRACT

This study examined the impact economic impact of tax policy administration using the time period 2019-2021. The main aim and objective of this research work is to analyse and evaluate the impact of tax administration on taxable individuals and local businesses within the Benin-City Metropolis. The model adopted in this research paper is the simple AK model which is the simplest variant of the endogenous growth model. This model combines assumptions of the Solow-Swan and Harrod-Domar models. These assumptions are that of perfect competition, substitutable factors and full employment as in the Solow-Swan model and a long run growth rate dependent on the savings rate as in the Harrod-Domar model. This model is an offshoot of the Arrow and Frenkel is built on Arrow’s theory of learning by doing, this model production function is a variant of the Cobb-Douglas function and is not subject to the law of diminishing returns to capital. Also known as covid-19, the coronavirus is a viral infection that broke out in China in 2019 and later became a global health challenge in 2020. It is said to be caused by the SARS CoV-2 virus. This research work also makes use of Visual representation as a tool. Visual representation is about communicating using photographs. An photograph is a visual representation of something that shows or tells a visual perception. The analysis carried out in this research was bases on questionnaires from tax collectors and business entities respectively. Questionnaires were distributed to over 40 respondents but 44 were adopted as fit for the purpose of the research work.
