ABSTRACT
Telepsych is a platform that helps people with psychiatric problems to find psychiatrists around them. It is a platform that provides quality psychiatric care to psychiatric patients who would have otherwise not have access to such services. This project or studypresents a system where people can have video sessions with qualified psychiatric doctors and have their records stored on it for easy access. The system was implemented using software tools HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, NodeJS PostgreSQL. The developed system is capable of facilitating psychiatric sessions between a patient and a psychiatrist, storing session results and providing accessible psychiatric care to people across Nigeria. It is valid to conclude that introducing a platform for tele-psychiatric will immensely help in providing efficient and effective psychiatric care to people across Nigeria.
