ABSTRACT
This industrial training report represents the experience gained during my 6 months of industrial training undertaking at MIC-JIN ENGINEERING SERVICES, BENIN CITY. My training was on the placement of hardcore, mass concrete casting, Laying of Blocks, Setting out of a building, Foundation trenches or excavation, Filling of Laterite, Plastering, Formwork, Backfilling, Laying of reinforcement and Erection of Column. During this period, I acquired practical knowledge on how to set- out a building , to supervise the casting of slabs, columns, beams and foundation footing and how to determine the excavation depth and compiling of bill of quantity. This report discuss the technical skills gained during the training period and justifying the relevance of the scheme in equipping students with needed technical competence to thrive in the real world.
