ABSTRACT

This study assessed the influence of business education programme to national economic development in Nigeria. Primary source of data was used in gathering information. A total of fifty questionnaires were obtained to analyze the data using frequency count, simple percentage, mean and standard deviation. It was discovered that business education programme influence the educational sector of Nigeria as it also have a significant and positive influence on the skill development, entrepreneurship and national economic development. The study therefore recommended that most of the people that benefited from the programme could afford the basic necessity of life, government should begin to think of how to cooperate with tertiary education to develop and support the study of business education by student across the nation.
