ABSTRACT
Data analysis is widely appreciated in the society today. These are set of numerical facts that have been observed and they are used in solving problems accurately. This application is not restricted to only science discipline but to all other discipline like Social sciences, Life sciences etc. A widely used technique for estimating data and finding relationships among variable observed is the correlation analysis and its measure of correlation coefficients. It was in the light of the above that the project work was carried out to provide adequate estimation of data and finding the relationship among variable using manual computation and statistical package called SPSS (Statistical package for Social science). This project work is spread among five chapters, with chapter one dealing with the introduction, background, objectives, significance of study, the main focus on chapter two shall be literature review on correlation analysis and its measures of correlation coefficients. Chapter three covers the methodology of correlation analysis and its measures of correlation coefficients, chapter four focuses on the manual and computer implementation, lastly five deals on summary and conclusion of results.
