ABSTRACT
The Paralogistic distribution can be used for modelling lifetime data from reliability and survival studies. The distribution has two parameters (one scale and one shape). Some structural properties were examined; some were stated and others were proved. Properties like the survival function, hazard function, reversed hazard function, moments, quantile, probability density function as well as its parameter estimation using maximum likelihood. The application of this distribution is considered by analyzing three data sets. Finally, the proposed distribution has been fitted to real life data and the fit has been found to be good.
