ABSTRACT
General moment method of solving for moment of probability distributions is discussed as well as estimation of parameters using moment functions.
Comparison of the methods of moment with other methods of parameter estimation is also discussed.
The moment of some selected distribution functions like, Weibull distribution function, Beta distribution function and Gamma distribution function is studied to determine their statistical properties.
