ABSTRACT
This study was aimed at developing a student management system software using PHP and MySQL, which helps to eliminate the traditional handwritten style of recording students' results and streamline administrative processes in educational institutions. The methodology of the software buildup revolved around PHP's CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations in conjunction with MySQL. This combination allowed for the seamless integration of the front-end and back-end components. PHP was responsible for handling user requests, processing data, and generating dynamic web pages, while MySQL facilitated the storage, retrieval, and manipulation of student information. This final year project showcases the successful utilization of PHP and MySQL in the buildup of a student management system software. The integration of PHP's dynamic capabilities and MySQL's database management features enables seamless data management, administration, and reporting. The software offers a modern and efficient solution to replace traditional handwritten recording methods, streamlining administrative processes and enhancing the overall efficiency of educational institutions.
