ABSTRACT

Academics and corporations alike are interested in blockchain technology because of their rapid growth over the past ten years. The blockchain network was initially developed as a decentralized, immutable ledger system for the Internet banking industry. Currently, it is regarded as a potent framework for data-driven, self-organization and decentralized data processing in flat and open-access networks. The possible characteristics of decentralization, immutability, and self-organization are mostly attributable to the distinctive decentralized consensus mechanisms established by public blockchain. Businesses and governments typically utilize tenders or contracts to purchase products or services. When there are flawed processes, poor tender management causes large losses.Contractors receive special consideration, records are not kept with precision, there is a lack of transparency, there is hacking, data is altered, and so forth. In order to solve this issue, we utilized a distributed and secure blockchain technology, together with encryption, Proof-of-concept mechanism and an undeniable block-based design for tender management. In this situation, blockchain technology is used to secure both transaction-based documents and transactions, providing a completely transparent tendering process, tender documents, applications, bid proposals, company profiles, prior performance, approval officer details, and rejection details are all necessary. This study utilized Ethereum Virtual machine as the development environment for smart contracts, Truffle/Ganache for building the source codes and Metamask for e-wallet transaction. The deployed smart contract was implemented using Solidity programming language.
